Healing through the Chakras Course + Recordings

Healing Through the Chakras

HOW THE COURSE IS STRUCTURED

The content on this page can serve as an introduction to working with the energies of the chakras.

I recommend that you print off or download the Chakra Mantras so that you have them to hand to learn

as I go through them in the videos below.

Overview

  1. Introducing mantras for each of the chakras – to affirm their positive healthy expression. It can be enjoyable to develop your own intuitive movements for each one. This can strengthen the impact on your subconscious mind.
  2. Healing Method – This is a simple method developed by George Rhatigan that helps us to clear negative energy and infuse positive energy into each of our energy centers. This can be done in sequence for all of the chakras or simply focusing in on one or two areas that you know are in need of support.
  3. Kundalini Yoga Sessions. Foundation exercises working with the energy of the chakras 1-4.

I hope you will enjoy working with the material below

Mantras for each of the Chakras

SIMPLE METHOD FOR HEALING THROUGH THE CHAKRAS

I invite you to familiarise yourself with each of the eight mantras – each one associated with a different chakra. Each chakra has a shadow emotion associated with it and a talent that is it’s gift to us. Through practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, not  only will you become more familiar with each of the chakras you can learn to strengthen those aspects that may be weaker or at risk areas within your own personal psycho-emotional and physical functioning. The beauty of Kundalini Yoga is that through working on our physical bodies we can effect positive changes and support  healing in other seemingly unrelated areas of our lives. For example, building a strong root chakra, allows us to feel more secure and safe and thus we may be more able to take small positive risks in our lives ( like public speaking! ). If we are blocked in our sacral chakra, we may find it difficult to express ourselves creatively and thus miss out on the joy that is the gift of this chakra.

A focus on our sacral chakra can open up new possibilities for our lives leading to greater happiness and pleasure. The solar plexus and the nabhi or navel point provide us with a connection to our fire element, our will to achive and to make an impact in the world. Greater self confidence and a stronger sense of self as well as deeper reserves of energy become available to us through working in a positive way with our solar plexus, the  nabhi chakra.

Our heart is a portal to experiences of love both for ourselves ( self love) and others – as well as compassion for the whole. A host of heart related problems can be avoided through working with this chakra. Many have also reported greater success in their endeavours through regular repetition of the heart chakra mantra- such as when you are in a challenging situation for example. Silently repeating “My heart is open, I freely give and receive the healing power of love, I am loved lovable and loving” – and directing these loving energies to the person who may be a source of difficulty for you, can work wonders. Our throat chakra connects us to the element of Ether. Through working on the health and well-being of our throat chakra, as well as the benefit to the thyroid and parathyroid glands, contributing to a healthy immune system, we can enhance our capacity for clear communication.

HERE YOU CAN EXPERIENCE RECORDINGS OF PREVIOUS CLASSES

The first class allows time to connect with each of these energies. Please remember, ladies, if you are pregnant or on your period, you are advised to use long deep breathing insdead of breath of fire. Also caution is to be exercised for any leg lifts or any exercises that would put pressure on the lower abdomen during those times. If you find any of the postures or exercises too demanding at this time, relax and allow yourself to visualise the exercise to also receive benefits.

The chakras provide an energy map and there is vast amount that can be learned about ourselves to understand the flow of energy within our bodies by growing in our awareness of the chakra system. I hope that this material here can provide an introduction.

If you have any feedback or comments I would love to hear from you.
