This is a gentle introductory course in Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. Cultivating positive habits and a healthy lifestyle day by day. Through six weekly classes and supported by homework practices you will learn the basics to support you on a journey to increased health and wellbeing. A weekly yoga class and optional online discussion class to explore the deepen your knowledge of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation.

Yogic Philosophy: What is Yoga? How does Kundalini Yoga differ from other forms of yoga? What is the history and heritage behind these practices?
The Chakras : Seven Steps to Health. An introduction to the chakra system – what are the chakras? How to they relate to the physiology of the body and our subtle energy system. I also introduce how we can work with the chakras for increased health, wellbeing and healing.
Medical Meditation: Introduction to the practice of meditation. Learn about the basic science and physiology behind meditation practice and why it is such a powerful antidote to stress.
Mantra & Shabd : What is a mantra? In this session I introduce the the technology of mantra and shabd, the power of sound and the Word. I will discuss three key mantras used in regular kundalini yoga practice and explore their deeper meaning and application and we can practice them together.
The Age of Aquarius: What is the Age of Aquarius? Exploring new perceptions of the Cosmic Human, the Self Sensory System and the importance of cultivating intuition and inner awareness in this time of challenge.
Sikh Dharma: The Path of the Warrior Saint. What is Sikh Dharma and how does it relate to Kundalini Yoga? I will introduce some key meditations from Kundalini Yoga practice and discuss them as part of Sikh Heritage. I will also explore the meeting of Christian culture and Sikh Culture and how our yoga practice can deepen our relationship with the divine.
